Week 10 officially locked in the 2026 Championship Weekend field. Seattle Tempest became the first team to clinch after pulling away from Oregon Soar behind another dominant all-around team performance. Thanks to tiebreak scenarios, Colorado Alpenglow also secured a Championship Weekend berth before even taking the field. Hours later, San Diego Super Bloom survived Colorado’s explosive offense in a showdown that secured the defending champs another trip to Championship Weekend. And in the night’s wildest finish, Bay Area Falcons survived a furious Arizona Sidewinders push to grab the league’s final postseason spot.
Game 1: SEA @ OR
Seattle Tempest Left No Doubt; Clinched First Championship Weekend Spot
Seattle Tempest came into Week 10 needing a win to lock down the Northwest. They walked out as the first team officially headed to 2026 Championship Weekend.
After a competitive opening stretch, Seattle steadily pulled away from Oregon Soar behind disciplined offense, relentless defensive pressure, and yet another solid set of performances from Jamie Kauffman and Gemma Munck.
Munck continued their incredible first season with three goals, an assist, a block, and a Callahan that completely detonated the momentum of the game. Kauffman added four assists while handler Cheryl Hsu controlled the tempo with nearly 300 throwing yards, helping Seattle consistently reset and re-attack when Oregon tightened underneath lanes.
Oregon still produced plenty offensively. Emily Pozzy kept Soar dangerous all game with four assists and over 360 throwing yards, repeatedly stretching Seattle’s defense with confident looks and quick continuation movement. Katelyn Osborne and Noelle Takahashi each finished with three goals as Oregon stayed aggressive downfield even while chasing breaks.
The win officially made Seattle Tempest the first team to clinch a Championship Weekend berth. Thanks to tiebreak scenarios, Colorado clinched alongside them before even taking the field later that evening.
Game 2: SD @ CO
Super Bloom Weathered Colorado’s Big Performance To Clinch
The game opened with both teams trading points nearly possession for possession through most of the first quarter, neither side able to create much separation early. But near the end of the quarter, Super Bloom finally found a defensive gear Colorado struggled to overcome, allowing San Diego to build a small cushion that changed the rhythm of the game.
Colorado never let Super Bloom get comfortable though.
Every time San Diego threatened to pull away, Alpenglow answered behind their star-powered offense. Colorado repeatedly clawed the deficit back to a single goal, keeping pressure on Super Bloom deep into the second half.
Kaela Helton was everywhere for Super Bloom, piling up five assists and roughly 350 total yards while calmly steering San Diego through Colorado’s pressure. Kaitlyn Weaver delivered one of the most complete stat lines of the weekend: two goals, two assists, three blocks, and over 300 total yards while committing just 1.5 turnovers.
Colorado’s Ari Nelson threw for 6 assists, over 500 yards and completed seven of eight hucks — a new league record for completed hucks in a game — while finishing with six assists. Kennedy McCarthy repeatedly torched the deep space for six goals, another Callahan (her second this season) and over 300 total yards, while Abby Thorpe filled every column imaginable with two goals, two assists, a block, and roughly 500 total yards.
At times, Colorado’s offense looked almost impossible to stop. But San Diego stayed composed late, answering every Colorado push just long enough to protect the lead and close out the 18-16 win.
The result officially sent San Diego to Championship Weekend where they will hunt for a repeat title.
Game 3: BAY @ AZ
Falcons Bay-rly Survived The Snakes, Earning Final CW Spot
For most of Saturday night, it looked like Arizona Sidewinders might completely flip the postseason picture upside down.
Bay Area Falcons made sure that didn’t happen — but not before surviving one of the wildest games of Week 10.
The matchup featured five lead changes and stayed tense nearly the entire way, with neither team able to fully wrestle away control for long. Every big Bay Area run seemed to trigger an Arizona response right back the other direction.
Robyn Fennig was dangerous all night, finishing with seven assists, two blocks, more than 400 total yards, while committing just two turnovers, and dictating nearly every major offensive sequence for Bay Area. Whenever Arizona threatened to regain momentum, Fennig responded by reopening the field.
Margo Donahue and Kara Hammer each added three goals, while Olivia Goss quietly piled up huge receiving numbers (277) working underneath before exploding deep after the turn. Defensively, Reeve Grobecker helped keep Bay Area afloat with three blocks.
Arizona’s Janet Wan and Kez Gesell both delivered excellent all-around performances, each contributing six combined goals, assists, and blocks while surpassing 300 total yards. Gesell especially kept Arizona steady offensively with a turnover-free performance despite heavy usage.
Caroline O’Connell added four assists and nearly 300 throwing yards as Arizona repeatedly challenged Bay Area’s downfield defense and nearly spoiled the Falcons’ postseason plans entirely.
The game remained a nail-biter deep into the fourth quarter before Bay Area finally created a little breathing room in the closing moments. A couple clean offensive holds and timely defensive stops finally gave the Falcons the separation they had been chasing all night.
And with the 17-15 win, Bay Area officially locked down the final Championship Weekend berth — completing the four-team field before the regular season’s final week even arrived.
